Crane Cool-Mist Humidifier Review and #Giveaway

So, before yesterday I have never had the experience of one of my children having Croup. Actually, I never really heard about it until one of my good friends told me about her daughter having it. Yesterday, me and my (two year-old) baby spend almost all day at the Emergency Room. His cough was scary, and it seemed like he couldn't breathe between coughs. Just imagine how bad I was freaking out! After my baby got his steroid shot and ate lots of snacks, the Nurse Practitioner started telling me that I needed a cool-mist humidifier, because it would help with his coughing attacks. I told her that we had a Crane Adorable Humidifier at home, and she told me that was just what he needed to feel better when he was coughing uncontrollably. When we got home, the first thing I did (even though he wasn't having a coughing fit) was fill up our humidifier. I put his face directly over the steam, and it seemed to help a lot with his hoarse voice. In fact, after I did a lot of "Google … [Read more...]
MailPix #Review and $50 Gift card #Giveaway

I think photo gifts leave a lasting impression for years! That is why I was so excited when I was contacted by MailPix with an offer to spend $100 on their website! With the Holidays right around the corner, I knew I could find something that I wanted to give as a gift! Here is what I got for $100 $93: 2 Fleece Blankets with pictures. I am giving one to best friend for her birthday, and the other is going to my husband's mother for Christmas. 4 Custom Mugs. I got one for each of my children, the mugs have their name and picture on them. 1 Custom Mouse Pad. This is going to be my grandpa's Christmas present. I customized it with a picture of his dog that he is really attached to and all four of my children. 2 Custom Wallet Sized Magnets. This is the only thing that I got for myself. ;) Here is a sneak peek of what the kids are getting (Shhh, don't tell them): Take a look at the side with their name on it! I am highly impressed with the quality of these … [Read more...]
Daily’s Cocktails #Review & #Giveaway

Daily’s is now offering blender-style cocktails in single serving convenient pouches where the alcohol is already “in the bag.” Just freeze, squeeze and enjoy! For review, I received a gift card to shop for Daily's, so when I was shopping for my review, I got 5 Margaritas! My husband isn't too crazy about Margaritas, so he could a couple of Strawberry Daiquiris. I am never disappointed in Daily's Cocktails, and I have actually tried quite a few of them. There was a Hard Cider one released recently, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. The Hard Cider can be enjoyed heated or frozen. I am definitely going to try it both ways! My favorite thing about the Daily's Cocktails is the convenience. Since my blender is broken (and I am too cheap to buy a new one) I am no longer to make my favorite frozen Margaritas. When I buy Daily's, all I have to do is place the pouch in the freezer, and wait for it to freeze! The folks at Daily’s have graciously decided to give three … [Read more...]

Seafood is a lot more than just tasty, it is actually really healthy. It is very rich in nutrients like vitamins and minerals including iron; zinc; and vitamins A, B and D. October is Cyber Security Awareness Month #LifeLock #Giveaway

Shopping online can be such a relief when you feel like spending money, but don't want to change out of your pajamas, or if you need something that you can't find at any stores near your home. But shopping online can be scary, too! One of my best friend's had a problem a few months ago, something that I didn't think could happen anymore happened. Someone hacked into her Wal-Mart account where she had her credit card information stored, and purchased a lot of gift cards. Her bank account was emptied. She was really upset, and didn't know what to do because the account was in her husband's name and he was deployed! Thankfully, all of her money was put back in the bank. Since then, I have deleted my credit card information that I had stored on different websites because I was afraid that something like that could happen to me! After worrying about shopping online for a few months, I signed up for LifeLock today! It was incredibly easy to sign up for, and only took about 5 … [Read more...]
Streekers #Review & #Giveaway!

Have you ever used temporary hair color for your children? I have, and I haven't really been pleased with many of them. They usually rub off onto everything that the hair touches and flake like crazy! I was expecting the same thing when I agreed to review Streekers temporary hair color, but I was pleasantly surprised! First, here are some pictures of my daughter's hair with Streekers in it! I was SO EXCITED about how easy it is to apply using the sponge applicator! Streekers is the easiest brush-on hair color that I have ever applied! Streekers come in a small vial, with a sponge applicator that is similar to that you would see in a lip gloss. The color is a liquid, which I also wasn't expecting. I only had to use one coat to cover an entire strand of hair and then just let it dry. I left Streekers in my daughter's hair overnight, and none rubbed off on her pillow or sheets. We are actually so in love with Streekers that the next time we need temporary hair color, we will … [Read more...]
